Training Season - January-February 2021

Join an all-star Renegade staff and fellow lacrosse players to compete in the fastest sport on two-feet!  Winter play opportunities will review fundamental skills and train defensive and offensive strategy. We will become Tough, Tenacious, and Thirsty lacrosse players!

Training opportunities (there are two separate offerings below that require separate registrations):

  1. Sunday Scramble Play @ Victory Athletic Center in San Juan Capistrano - Register HERE!

Train with fellow lacrosse players to compete in the fastest sport on two-feet!  We will play a mixture of traditional lacrosse blended with hybrid versions of the game to encourage strategic play and creativity among the girls.  Play will be small-sided to maximize touches, which maximizes opportunities to learn, which increases speed of improvement! Competitive play will be distanced. Coaches will be walking the field to teach in the moment!  We will become Tough, Tenacious, and Thirsty lacrosse players!

Play will be distanced based on US Lacrosse Return to Play guidelines HERE and California youth return to play guidelines HERE (NOTE:  rules/guidelines may be adjusted as California modifies youth return to play protocol).

Players will warm-up, review skills, and practice a variety of competitive play scenarios.  Players will train in a cohort determined by their age and experience level for approximately 60 minutes between 1:00-4:00 PM.  Specific training times will be provided after registration is complete.

Dates:  Sundays, January 24, 31; February 7, 14, 21, 28

Designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players!  Players are grouped by experience and age level.  We highly recommend fall play for advanced players as they age up and prepare for upcoming club lacrosse seasons!  You'll improve your game by trying new skills in game situations without any risk of losing playing time.  For youth, repetition and game experience is KEY.
